Wow...best football game ever |
| I got an early copy at this from EB games on the 12th and I've been hooked, the best part of course is the dynasty mode, and it is just better and deeper than ever. The new toughest places to play feature is awesome, I played Florida in the swamp and it felt like the staduim is shaking, and forget trying to audible when it gets real loud, its nearly impossible. Another new feature thats kinda neat is the disciplinary aspect. Some of your players will do certain things during the season such as cutting class, cheating on exams, etc...you have options how to handle these infractions ranging from suspending him for a quarter of a game to suspending him for the season. If you are one to always give light punishement, the NCAA will start investigating your team and you could lose scholarships, suspended from post-season play and even fired. If your to strict your players could transfer.(another cool feature)Players can now transfer if they dont get the desired playing time they want, you can also get tranfers to go to your school as well. This game has so much more that it takes to long to talk about, I suggest you buy it and see for yourself. |
College football at it's best |
| Ea Sports has done it again, Ea has introduced Homefield advantage in this new edition which is a great feature, it is difficult to get used to at first but isn't that what having home field advantage is all about. The new hit sticks and match up sticks are a welcome addition to the game but don't rely on them too much as you will end up getting burned for long gains, as I do (I'm like a kid in a candy store) The dynasty mode now has you disiplining your athletes recruiting non football players and players that want to transfer usually for not getting enough playing time. They really did a good job updating this new version of the game, if you haven't played NCAA in a couple years you will be impressed with the latest offering. |
NCAA Football is a must-have for all college football fans! |
| There are a lot of football games out this year like ESPN NFL 2K5, Madden NFL 2005, and of course NCAA Football 2005. I have played all of these games, and in my opinion you need to think of what you want in a football game before buying any of them. If you are a die-hard NFL fan looking for a realistic, but still strategic football game in which starting a team franchise isn't much of a plus for you, save your money and buy the $20.00 ESPN NFL 2K5. If you want a beautifully enhanced A.I. to rough it out with Madden NFL 2005 is your best bet due to the much more intelligent A.I. (mainly line backs and defense backs). Madden is also made better due to the ingenious Franchise mode. Madden has always dominated franchise so you should always expect the best from them in that department. Now on to NCAA Football 2005. This game has a few big changes that make it unique from any other football game. The first is homefield advantage. This makes it possible to pump up the crowd in a game and ice or lower your opponents composure. Each player has a meter in which their composure is shown. Players with lower composure have a much better chance of being shut down than a well-composed player. This makes homefield advantage very valuable. So in all honesty NCAA Football 2005 is agreat game that any college or professional should own. |
